- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- A big pinch of hing asafoetida
- A few sprigs of curry leaves
- 1-2 dry red chillies
- 1-2 green chillies
- 1 lb chopped French beans
- 1 small potato chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh grated coconut
- water as required

- Prepare Vegetables:
- Wash and chop the French beans and potato into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add hing, curry leaves, dry red chillies, and green chillies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add the chopped French beans and potato to the pan. Mix well to coat the vegetables with the tempering.
- Cover the pan and let the vegetables cook on low to medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
