These homemade brownies are so easy to make. Just mix everything into the food-processor and bake them into the oven. the best part of the recipe is that I have used dates as sweetener and the flour used is the combination of pearl Millet and almond which makes the recipe absolutely a guilt free indulgence.
How to make the Chocolate Brownie :
Soak Dates: Begin by soaking the dates in warm water until they become soft and mushy.
Wet Ingredients: In a powerful blender or food processor, blend together the soaked dates along with other wet ingredients.
Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the blended wet mixture. Pulse the blender a few times to ensure everything is mixed together well.
Baking: Pour the batter into a baking tray and spread it evenly. Add in a few chocolate chips on top. Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling: Once baked, let the brownies cool down in the tray for a while.

- 1 Cast Iron pan 12 inch
Ingredients
- 2.5 Cups Dates
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Neutral oil melted extra virgin coconut oil can be substituted
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup Bajra/Pearl millet flour
- 1/4 cup Almond flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 12-inch cast iron pan with cooking spray or coconut oil.
- Soak the dates in water for 15 to 20 min until softened
- In a food processor, pulse the pitted dates until they form a paste.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and Neutral oil to the food processor and blend until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, Almond flour, Bajra flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the dry ingredients to the food processor and blend until fully combined.
- Fold in 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts coated in 1tsp bajra flour.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top. tap the pan 2-3 times to get the air out.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
